2023-24 House Hockey Registration & Information

Welcome to the 2023 -2024 Fall House Season Registration with the Lakeland Hockey Association!

Typical Timeline for the House (Tier III) Season:

  • Late Aug.- Evaluation skates & Draft for (Squirts though Bantam's**)*(If Needed)
  • After Labor Day- Teams begin skating
  • Beg. to Mid Oct.- Games Begin
  • Mid March- End of Season (Championship games for all divisions if applicable)

10U SQ - Draft results posted on Squirt Tab.

**PLEASE NOTE: Evaluation skate for Squirts, Pee Wees, and Bantams will take place on Mid/Late August.  If more than one team at each level. Further Details on this will be sent out in the beginning of August when we can better determine the on the number of teams based on registration at that time. With the house draft taking place the following week of evaluation skates.

**IMPORTANT FOR ALL DIVISIONS- Please register as soon as possible, teams will be formed based on the number of skaters registered and registration date timestamp will be used for cut off if necessary for waitlists.

HOUSE PROGRAM DETAILS

 

6U (2017-2018 birth years) 8U (2015-2016 birth years)

10U (2013-2014 birth years)- Squirts

12U (2011-2012 birth years)- Pee wees

14U (2009-2010) birth years)- Bantams

GOALIES- We are offering 50% off for FULL TIME goalies, for Squirt through Bantam age level. Please contact us for a code before registering. 

**6U HOUSE PLAYERS AT A MINIMUM MUST BE ABLE TO SKATE UNASSISTED.

8U, 10U, 12U, 14U HOUSE PLAYERS AT A MINIMUM MUST BE ABLE TO SKATE FORWARD AND BACKWARD UNASSISTED AND PERFORM A HOCKEY STOP UNASSISTED WHEN THE SEASON BEGINS. IF PLAYER CANNOT, PLAYER SHOULD REGISTER FOR OUR LEARN TO SKATE OR LEARN TO PLAY PROGRAMs**

IMPORTANT ITEMS:

 

USA HOCKEY REGISTRATION:  A valid USA Hockey number for the 2023-2024 season is required to register a player for any LHA programs. USA Hockey registration is separate from LHA registration. Please visit the USA Hockey website before beginning your registration if you do not have a valid number for this season for your player. 

LHA Registration and Program Fees:  House Hockey Registration Fee is due at the time of registration and includes the cost of home and away jerseys and two pairs of hockey socks.    

Please note: After August 25th there will be NO REFUNDS unless LHA is unable to place your player on a team in their age division.

6U/8U INFO: 

Season Ice Fees: 6U and 8U teams will have one practice during the week and play games (starting in October) on Sundays. *The season begins the week of September 4th and goes through mid-March. In addition to the  registration fee, there is a monthly per player fee for each division. These fees cover the cost for ice time each month, ref and scorekeepers, as well as the team registration fee for the I275 Hockey League. The fees do not include tournaments that the team may choose to participate in during the season, (8U), team events, specialized coaching, etc. Additional fees for items not covered by the registration fee or designated ice fees will be collected independently by each team. Ice payments are due the 5th of each month, beginning September through March.

10U/12U/14U INFO: 

10U, 12U and 14U House teams will have 2 sheets of ice per week (Fridays and Sundays) and will play home and away league games. 10U, 12U, and 14U House teams are in control of their own team finances above and beyond their ice. Each team will be provides a bank account with their LCAHL refs fees deposited into their account. The monthly ice bill paid via Sports Engine includes the costs of LCAHL league registration fees, referees, ref scheduling fees. Teams are responsible for any tournament fees, cost of districts and playoffs.

COACHES:

Volunteer coaches are always needed and are the backbone at each age level to ensure our programs run. Please make sure to fill out a 2023-2024 Lakeland Hockey Coaching application if interested in coaching this upcoming season!
