Lakeland Hockey Association

We are a group of 10 year old boys who have been given the opportunity to play hockey for the Lakeland Hawks 2K Travel Hockey Team based in Waterford Michigan. As a team we think of each other as a band of brothers who are committed to hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship on and off the ice. The coaching philosophy is to teach our players not only the game of hockey, but to instill the core values of what makes each individual a better person both on and off the ice. This overall philosophy includes teaching the players the importance of building better relationships and having a cause bigger then yourself as being a Hawk means accepting responsibility for ones action. We ask our players to lead with courage, empathy, and integrity. While also teaching these young players that living a life of service to others is more important than any goal, assist, save or score in a game.
