Lakeland Hockey Association along with Lakeland Arena offers a variety of programs for all ages of children looking to learn the sport of Ice hockey.
For those brand new to ice skating and younger than 14 - Lakeland Arena offers the ATOMS program. This is a developmental program geared at those brand new to the sport. Completion of the ATOMS program prepares a player to join a LHA team. (Click here).
Those between the ages of 4 and 6 and have a basic fundamental of how to skate should consider our Mini-mite program. While games are scheduled the program places a strong emphasis on skill development. (Click Here)
Those between 7 and 8 and have basic skating fundamentals who are interested in furthering their hockey experience are encouraged to look at our Mite program. The main emphasis of our Mite program is a continuation of skill development and an introduction to team work and sportsmanship. (click here)
