SAFETY, safety, safety!!! The world we live in is a frightening place and things happen. The need to adapt to the new world is coming quickly and Lakeland Hockey is proud to be taking the lead on child safety. The policy is to protect us all and is not meant to be intrusive into your personal life. Any adult over 18 is required to have on file with the team a confirmation that a current season MAHA Background check has been completed. This is free and can be requested by clicking here. Information submitted is private and not shared with LHA unless there is a concern with child safety. Should you choose to decline the background check then understand that you will not be permitted to enter the locker room area. Please understand that this is an LHA policy and your coach is obligated to enforce the policy.
